This charming vintage Christmas postcard features an embossed illustration of two children carrying firewood through a snowy forest at dusk. The scene is beautifully textured with rich colors highlighting the children's period clothing and the serene winter landscape under a crescent moon and star. "Christmas Greetings" is elegantly scripted in the lower corner, adding to its nostalgic appeal.
Printed in Germany, this original postcard is a classic example of early 20th-century holiday ephemera, notable for its embossed relief technique that adds a tactile dimension to the artwork. Measuring the standard 5.5 x 3.5 inches, it reflects the timeless tradition of sending warm seasonal wishes. Collectors will appreciate the multilingual postal markings on the reverse, which further attest to its international reach and vintage authenticity.
